Storytelling in Papiamento, Portuguese, and Spanish

Come and join us for a story telling event in which we will entice you with stories told in Spanish, Portuguese and Papiamento! Enjoy a story in a language you know and see how much you can understand if you listen carefully to a story in one of the other languages. You might be surprised how easy it is! Everyone is welcome, so please feel free to bring along grandparents, neighbours, family, friends and anyone with an interest in the languages we have included.

After we have listened to the stories, the children will get together and do some creative and fun things (under adult supervision). For the adults we will provide information on multilingualism and multilingual development (in English) and offer the opportunity to ask questions on these topics and exchange experiences. We will end the morning with some refreshments and snacks.
